New Education Forum Online – The end of traditional education

Due to the Coronavirus, this year we find it impossible to organize physical Forum in Brussels and in the EU countries in which CIE operates. The European Parliament (key element in the celebration of the annual NEF Brussels) remains closed and it would be very unlikely to organize a conference with the quality that we expect from the New Education Forum in the present times

For this reason, CIE proposes an online meeting in which representatives of all FOLM project Partners, representatives of the European Commission, the Committee of the Regions, Members of the European Parliament, a number of experts and authorities can participate. This wide and diverse audience has cooperated within NEF network for years and though 2020 is an unprecedented year, the annual Forum will once again benefit from their vast knowledge and experience.

During this year’s meeting we will deliver a summary of the current FOLM project development, we will present CIE ideas for the future (OL Centers) and we will ask for guidance and opinion from the representatives of the European institutions in terms of these plans’ implementation. Further we’ll discuss potential funding and expansion of the network of institutions interested in the New Education Forum and the Outdoors Learning method.
