The XIV New Education Forum in the European Parliament in December 2019 will give a chance of presenting innovative learning solutions, which strengthen transversal competencies. We’ll learn of outcomes of the FOLM model (From Outdoors to Labour Market) addressed to youth not in employment, education or training. We’ll listen to other examples for helping young people receive valuable education and entering adulthood.
We’re excited to host our first NEF ADVANCED workshop in October 2019 in Poznań: “Using digital storytelling and games for behaviour change”.
NEF ADVANCED is created for NEF’s network and its stakeholders to bring in a professional advice, experience and ideas within the areas identified by NEF as core, meaningful and necessary for further, next stage development of NEF’s stakeholders as well as to address NEF’s stakeholders unique and personalised needs.
On November 21 and 22, 2018, once again, several dozens of business representatives, academic centers, and research companies met at the European Parliament in Brussels. The main objective of this year's New Education Forum was the inauguration of the new project "From outdoors to labor market - FOLM".
In November 2017 in Brussels, the key stakeholders ofthe New Education Forum (NEF):business community, trade unions, decision-makers, NGOs, academia and research institutions at the European level discussed Smart Education Indicators coming from new economic models of Smart Cities and Smart Regions and crucial VET promotion.
In November 2016 the New Education Forum took place in both: the European Parliament and the European Economic and Social Committee. The NEF 2016 received a strong support of the Indiana University and was opened by the key note speeches of Mr. Tibor Navracsics, the Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sports at the European Commission and by Mr. Jerzy Buzek, Chair af the Conference of Committee Chairs and Member of the European Parliament.
From November 30 to December 1, 2015, at the Copernicus Science Center, the first edition of the New Education Forum took place, under the honorary patronage of Agata Kornhauser-Duda, the wife of the President of the Republic of Poland. Thanks to the participation of the Strategic Partner, the PZU Foundation, the Center for Innovative Education (CIE) got this unique place to organize several simultaneous events related to the change in education.
